However, the problem is that the term "Temperance" is too broad and often difficult to apply to specific situations, leading to much confusion. The concept of "Temperance" in tarot is similar to our concept of "the Golden Mean," both emphasizing moderation. One should have moderation in life, neither too much nor too little; hold a bowl of water level, neither leaning left nor right. Both self and others must be considered, and external and internal aspects must be balanced. However, the balance of temperance differs from the balance of justice.
