Description

P2S Toolhead Cover Hinge and PTFE Tube Guide

 

This model is the first all-in-one model from Bamblab Makerworld, combining improvements to prevent tube jamming, improved drive stability, and a toolhead cover hinge from previous toolhead designs.

  • No need to adjust tube clips or tube lengths, this one model does it all!

Due to the narrow space around the toolhead, significant modification variables were required, including interference with the upper frame. Through 11 design revisions, including design research, tolerance adjustments were made to ensure perfect assembly and installation.

 

Observing the movement of the P2S toolhead revealed that the white powder was not caused by the PTFE tube rubbing against the upper glass surface, but rather by the PTFE pipe rubbing against the steel frame edge of the side glass support. The white powder on the side was either static electricity from the upper glass or was deposited during toolhead movement.

 

 

Crash issues and height issues with the front upper frame of the toolhead. Support-free printing is possible using FDM additive manufacturing. The design has been optimized to print all parts on a single bed in under an hour.

Caution! 

Use PETG filament and thoroughly clean the bed before printing.

Apply grease to the rotating parts to reduce friction and ensure smooth operation.

Note! This product can be used by simply joining the parts. For a more secure assembly, use instant adhesive to join the triangular sections.
