This self-designed CG Tool (Center of Gravity Tool) was specially developed for the CARF ViperJet 2.50 m and is 100% field-tested.

The tool is attached between the fuselage and the wing. With the help of a builder's line, the complete model can be easily, safely, and reproducibly balanced – even alone in the workshop.

Why this CG Tool?

The included CARF tool offers:

  • ❌ too few adjustment points
  • ❌ incorrect center of gravity positions
  • no possibility to set the truly optimal center of gravity

👉 The ideal maiden flight center of gravity for the ViperJet is approx. 10 mm behind the wing tube – precisely this point is not provided by CARF.

🚀 Advantages of this CG Tool

  • ✔ Center of gravity adjustment in 5 mm increments
  • ✔ Free choice of CG according to personal preference
  • ✔ Very high repeatability
  • ✔ Quick & easy to handle
  • ✔ Perfect for maiden flight and fine-tuning
  • ✔ No modification to the model necessary

🛠 Technical Notes

  • Designed for 3D printing (PLA / PETG recommended)
  • Precisely fitted for CARF ViperJet 2.50 m
  • Use with standard builder's line

📌 Note: The responsibility for correct center of gravity adjustment lies with the user.
