Description
I started playing around with different lampshade shapes, mainly to explore how a rattan-style pattern would behave on curved surfaces. Pretty quickly, the design started to resemble an oriental-style lantern, so I leaned into it and loaded Silk Copper and matte black PLA into the printer.
Use it as a lantern or a lampshade.
An included modifier creates a hole for an E27 socket, making it easy to use as a lampshade. Scale it to the size of your socket!

Prefer a lantern instead? Simply remove the modifier and use it with LED tea lights for a cozy ambient glow.

The result is a warm, cozy lamp with beautiful light patterns that really come alive when lit. The rattan-inspired geometry creates soft shadows and a calm ambient glow, making it perfect as a pendant lamp or decorative lantern.
I’m really happy with how this one turned out, hope you like it as much as I do!
