Description

Following up on the driver figure, here is the essential Co-Pilot designed to occupy the passenger seat of your RC crawler. While modeled specifically to fit perfectly in the passenger seat of the Unimog U5023 (as seen in the photos), this figure is suitable for various 1:7,4 (1:8) scale truck cabs and off-road vehicles.

Figure Details & Pose

This is a highly detailed, realistic sculpture of a male passenger in a relaxed, seated position.

  • Attire: He is dressed in detailed workwear, featuring a textured denim-style jacket over a plaid button-up shirt, jeans, and sturdy work boots.
  • Accessories: He is holding a detailed hard hat (safety helmet) resting on his lap, ready for work once you reach the destination.
  • Realism: Great attention has been paid to realistic fabric folds, facial features, and anatomical proportions to bring your RC interior to life.

Design Highlights

  • Easy Print Geometry: Just like the driver, I’ve designed this figure with a flat back. This allows you to print with minimal supports and ensures she sits perfectly flush against the seat.
  • Scale Accurate: Perfectly sized for the Casadio interior. His legs and posture are optimized to fit the floorboard and seat height of the "Mog".
  • High Detail: This model features more intricate details, including a helmet and realistic clothing folds.

My Finishing Process

  • Material: Printed in Natural PLA.
  • Prep: Just Primer.
  • Painting: Why is it unpainted? The model in the photos is shown in primer, 3D-printed state. I printed this specific one for my son, who is very excited to paint it himself! It serves as a perfect "blank canvas" for anyone who enjoys detailing their own RC accessories. I used Action acrylic markers on previous models and it will be the same here.
