Description

This is a holder for the lautux Turbotastic Pro 2 and all of its accessories. The vacuum itself simply snaps into the round opening. The pieces that make contact with the Turbotastic are printed in TPU 90A to avoid scratches from hard plastic-on-hard plastic contact, and they should also help with the snap fit and overall grip. The accessories / nozzles are inserted from below with another snap fit. There is also a small hook to store the charging cable. (The two colors in my photos are just because one filament roll ran out and I switched to another color mid-print.)

The holder consists of multiple parts that need to be glued together. Two pieces make up the main body; they’re split so the large top surface can be printed flat on the bed for a nicer finish. The other two pieces are the TPU 90A contact pads that touch the Turbotastic.

This holder is compatible with the openGrid/multiconnect system by David D. For other mounting options, such as screws, MultiBoard, 3M Command Strips, and combinations of these, download my other variants here, then simply right-click the model, choose Replace with STL, and select the variant you prefer.

For the Multiconnect connections (for MultiBoard or openGrid spacing), I usually like using this snap or this anti-rotation snap. Note the small recess in the middle that helps secure the holder in place when fully engaged.

I enabled support for the two main body pieces. For the “Top” piece, supports are only needed on the surface where the “Contact Top” piece sits (that area might need a bit of cleanup). For the main “Holder” piece, support is only needed for the cable hook. I also enabled the Arachne wall generator for that part, because otherwise a tiny section of a wall wouldn’t have printed. Other than that, the default settings should work fine.

I designed a newer version than the printed one shown in the photos. Improvements:

- Different placement of the accessory slots to make room for one larger nozzle
- Moved the USB-C cable holder to a more convenient spot, closer to the center
- The pieces that are meant to be glued together now have a notch for easier alignment
- Improved snap fit of the accessory slots
