Description

A tabletop sized version of Survivor's famous snake variant of the House of the Holey challenge. This is a remix of the adaptation by Nooks4Books to add a variety of playability improvements from playtesting.

To play you will need two pieces of 14" twine + standard glass marble. Depending on the thickness of your twine, you may need to triple knot both ends after inserting to the handles and guide to prevent the string from pulling through.

Changes from the original:

  • Ball return and backboard - keeps the ball accessible to keep playing instead of the marble flying across the room
  • New side supports - raises height of the challenge to facilitate ball return and backboard
  • Start position preserved - a detent holds the ball in the start position while moving hands to the handles
  • Finishline frustration removed -  slight guide into the completion hole to prevent non-gameplay triggered failures of the ball falling forward
  • Improved print quality - maze rope guides initial layer tweaks, supports added to cantilevered overhangs on handles
