Recommended Print Settings (FDM)
- Material: PLA (easy) / PETG (tougher)
- Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm for a nicer surface)
- Walls/Perimeters: 3 (or more if you want extra stiffness)
- Infill: 10–20% (increase to 25–30% if you want it more rigid)
- Supports: Usually not needed (depends on your chosen orientation)
- Orientation: Flat on the build plate for best strength and finish
- Brim: Optional if your edges tend to lift
Finishing Tips (for maximum “wow”)
- Light sanding on the flat faces
- Primer + metallic spray paint (silver/steel/gold)
- Optional: a dark wash in the edges/lines for depth
- If you want a “wood handle” look, print the handle in brown filament or paint it
Scaling
- Scale up for a wall/display piece, or scale down for a token-size prop—this model scales well.
