Description
I designed these to fit and store Commodore 64 C64 cartridges, in a wide variety of differing cartridge counts depending on your shelving and storage needs.
There is a profile to store, 5/7/10 and 14 cartridges respectively. They also sit nicely side by side.
The slot dimensions to hold the cartridge is 22mm depth x 71mm wide as standard. So it may fit other types of commodore cartridge.
It is scaled above my original design. If desired you can scale the stand back to 100% which will give it a 21mm slot x 70mm width. Perfect for original commodore cartridges. Its mainly other custom designs that are 1-2mm thicker than standard hence the increase in dimensions.
The largest cartridges i have seen measure just under 2.2cm (2.16-2.18cm), where others are around 2cm. So i have tried to accomodate as much as i can both new and old, custom carts etc. But as above the stand and text can be scaled to your preferences.
You must print the chosen stand with the cartridge count you desire. There is a 2nd plate with the logo. However there is also a seperate text profile with ironing for better quality if required.
To fit the text/logo i would put a small drop of super glue onto the logo and then insert into the stand (chamfered side first). They should just drop in.
0.24mm layer height for the main stand and 0.16mm layer height for the text.
Stand Sizing:
5 Cartridge: 14.4cm Deep x 7.7cm Wide x 3.4cm High.
7 Cartridge: 19.7cm Deep x 7.7cm wide x 3.4cm High.
10 Cartridge: 14.4cm Deep x 15.6cm Wide x 3.4cm High.
14 Cartridge: 19.7cm Deep x 15.6cm Wide x 3.4cm High.
Please note filled stands will extend approx 2cm further with full sized cartridges in the last slots due to the angle of the cartridges/design.
As standard the colours used were:
Bambu basic - White
Bambu basic - Bright red
CC3D MAX - Royal Blue
The stand for best results ensure you are using a calibrated print profile and printer with clean bed and dry filament. Print with the lettering facing toward the right hand side of the printer for best definition on the front face.
