Recently I saw this hook at IKEA. I stood there, somewhere between the potted plant department and the exit, completely exhausted from the "marketplace labyrinth". I looked at the SKOGHALL hook, looked at the price, looked at the hook again, and thought to myself:
"Wait a minute. I have a 3D printer at home. Why should I spend money here when I can make and print it myself instead?"
No, seriously: Here is the simplest, cleanest hook for your bathroom, kitchen, or workshop. It looks like the original, but you can print it in any color you want (not just in boring black/chrome).
Technical Details:
- Backside diameter: 46 mm
- Attachment: You don't need a drill! The backside is designed flat for adhesive pads.
- Recommended adhesive: Round 3M VHB Pads (Ø 40 mm) fit perfectly and leave a clean edge. Alternatively, two strips of good mounting tape also work.
