A universal print material holder for Mimaki.

For quick direct printing in between:

Screw the base plate onto the print bed of the Mimaki 3042 (2 or 4 M4-8mm screws)
Clip in the perforated grid plate
Clip in the holder.
Insert object.
Transfer distances to the print software.
Start printing.

Before the first “real” use, a test print for alignment is recommended.
Save the settings, the repeatability of the Mimaki 3042 is extremely good.

No replacement for mass production, but ideal for individual manufacturing in between.

The grid holes have a 4mm diameter, the holders are made with 3.8mm pins, which is an ideal compromise between retention and reusability.

Most of the time, it's even enough to attach only one holder to the print bed.

The perforated plate is only suitable for H2 devices.
However, you can insert “negative” elements in Bambulab, so simply “cut off” as much as needed on the left side, and it will also fit on smaller printers.
The plate should still be usable with one holder, but with H2 devices, it fits perfectly across the entire print width of the 3042.

Print material holders for Eufy UV printers and xTool UV printers are in preparation!
