THE MODEL :

Elevate your mirrors or artwork with this wall frame inspired by Flamboyant Gothic architecture. This model mirrors the grandeur of cathedral windows with its majestic pointed arch, interlocking tracery, and finely detailed rosettes. The borders are adorned with organic scrolls that seem to climb the structure, creating a unique blend of architectural precision and natural fluidity. It’s the perfect piece for a "Dark Academia" aesthetic or for adding a touch of medieval mystery to your home.

This file has been thoroughly tested to ensure high-definition rendering of its complex details. Printing in Matte Black PLA is highly recommended; it absorbs light to emphasize the depth of the carvings, giving the frame a look of ancient stone or period wrought iron.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Infill: 5%
  • Material: Matte Black PLA

Sizing Information

Feel free to adjust the scale of this model in your slicer. You can scale it up to frame a full-sized mirror or scale it down to create an incredibly detailed miniature photo frame.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
