Description
DROP is an interface surface designed to receive everyday objects through a direct and natural gesture.
Its concave form defines a clear but non-prescriptive place of deposit, shaped for repeated and spontaneous use.
It does not organize. It stabilizes the act of leaving.
Beyond its function, DROP acts as a quiet decorative presence: a compact, material volume that engages with space without imposing itself.
Its inspiration comes from processes of deposition and erosion, reinterpreted as the material’s adaptation to repeated human contact over time.
Designed as a monolithic body, DROP is optimized for 3D printing: simple geometry, consistent wall thickness, and no fragile parts or assemblies.
An object that is easy to produce, made to last, and meant to be used every day.
