🔩 A2212 Brushless Motor Printed Adapter Bracket

This printed adapter bracket is designed for very common A2212-style brushless drone motors, making it the perfect solution if you don’t have the original metal adapter plate or want a lightweight, printable alternative.

If you’ve ever sourced A2212 motors from AliExpress, Amazon, or spare-parts bins, you already know how often these motors are used across DIY drones, RC projects, robotics, thrust rigs, and experimental builds. This adapter bridges the gap and lets you securely mount your motor without hunting down proprietary hardware.

🚁 Motor Compatibility

This adapter is designed around A2212-format brushless outrunner motors, commonly available in a wide range of KV ratings, including:

  • 930KV
  • 1000KV
  • 1400KV
  • 2200KV
  • 2450KV

Choose the KV based on your RPM and torque needs — the adapter works across the entire A2212 family as long as the mounting pattern matches.

Example motors:

  • A2212 1000KV Brushless Outrunner
  • A2212 13T variants
  • Similar A2212-style motors from multiple brands

✅ Why Use This Printed Adapter?

  • 🛠 Replaces missing metal adapter plates
  • Fast and easy to print
  • 🧩 Simple, functional mounting geometry
  • 🪶 Lightweight compared to metal
  • 🔁 Great for prototyping and testing
  • 🔩 Perfect for DIY drone frames and RC builds

Whether you’re building a custom frame, repairing a crashed drone, or experimenting with motor setups, this adapter gets you flying faster.

🖨 Recommended Print Settings

  • Material: PETG or ABS recommended (PLA OK for light duty)
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 30–50% (gyroid or cubic)
  • Walls: 3–4 perimeters
  • Supports: Not required
  • Orientation: Flat on the build plate

For high-RPM or high-vibration setups, PETG or ABS is strongly recommended.

⚠️ Notes & Disclaimer

  • Designed for A2212-style motors — always verify bolt spacing before installation
  • This is a printed adapter, not a structural metal replacement
  • Use thread-locking compound on screws for vibration resistance
  • Not intended for extreme load or commercial aviation use

🧪 Perfect For

  • DIY drones & quadcopters
  • RC aircraft & experimental builds
  • Robotics projects
  • Test rigs & motor benches
  • Rapid prototyping setups
