BMW X5 E70 Adjustable Rear Levelling Sensor Link
Print Profile(1)

Description
I was sick of seeing how expensive a couple of adjustable turnbuckles could were so I designed a 3D printed option that could be done for a few bucks.
This link should offer approx 0-2" of drop for your rear E70 air suspension by allowing 0-10mm shortening of the linkage.
This printed linkages requires:
- 10mm cut out of the centre of your original links
- 2x parts to be printed in a minimum of PETG (I did mine in ABS-GF)
- 4x M6 8mm wide, 10mm long brass heat inserts
- 4x M6 bolts with minimum of 15mm thread
- small dab of blue loctite just as assurance
- to use, simply measure your standard link length, as reference
- slide the cut halves of the links into the 3d printed part
- insert bolts, no loctite!
- play around with the link adjustability whilst they're installed on the car to get your desired ride height
- remove and replace bolts with a dab of loctite!
It is a snug fit! So make sure your filament is well tuned.
If its too tight, perhaps lower your extrusion multiplier by 0.05 and try again.
Please leave a like, comment, boost etc as it all helps :)
PLEASE NOTE
As of the time of posting, I have not yet tested these on my car.
I will update this once either myself or someone else has tested them.
