Description

DESCRIPTION (Assembly tips below):
This is a model of my shopping cart go-kart that I built while in college. This model is made from a full CAD model of the real kart, but adapted as a display prop for easy assembly. It was fun to make, and after multiple prints, I am satisfied to share it with everyone else! I sized the wheel pegs so that the wheels spin once fully mounted and everything is press fit.  I do plan to make modifications and additions to this model and the drift smoke, so be ready for updates. I have also included some assembly tips below once your model is done printing.

ASSEMBLY TIPS:
1. I would recommend cutting the tree supports at their connection points first, then slowly working your way down. It is tedious, but this guarantees the best quality with this part.

2. I would recommend using wire cutters to snip excess filament from the bottom of the wheel pegs. This helps with wheel install.

3. When pushing the wheels onto the pegs, I would support the back of the peg in case it requires excessive force.
4. The engine mounting clip may expand, so I have used pliers to slightly bend the clip in before pressing everything together. Refer to the last image above.
