Print Profile(2)

Bill of Materials
- Aquarium gravel x 1: For stability
Description
The Volta Ovo is the most streamlined and pure design in the Volta series. Its name, derived from the Latin for "egg," reflects its smooth, unbroken silhouette. This model is optimized for high-speed printing and a clean, modern aesthetic.
Key Features
- Vase Mode Optimized: Perfect for a single continuous extrusion (Spiral Vase Mode).
- High-Speed Print: Print time is under 30 minutes.
- Two Heights: Available in 140 mm and 165 mm versions.
- Opening Variants: Available with Wide or Narrow top diameters. The narrow version is ideal for keeping single crepe paper flower stems centered.
Print Settings for Best Results
To achieve a high-end look and structural integrity, use these settings:
- Nozzle: 0.8 mm (Ensures a strong, rigid wall).
- Layer Height: 0.4 mm.
- Mode: Vase Mode / Spiralize Outer Contour.
- Filament Choice: It is strongly recommended to use Matte PLA. The matte finish makes layer lines virtually invisible, even when printing at a fast 0.4 mm layer height.

Stability & Ballast Hack
Because this vase is lightweight, I recommend using aquarium gravel in the bottom to add weight and stabilize your crepe paper flowers.
- Inexpensive: A cheap and effective solution for adding ballast.
- Visuals: Light-colored or white stones look great inside the vase, particularly if you choose to print in transparent or translucent filaments.
- Function: The gravel holds the stems exactly where you want them.
