APACHE 2800 GridFinity Base Frame

Ehhhhh...  lol. Maybe.

Or maybe not. Time will tell!

That project is still very much a WIP.

But the Base Frame is Complete!

DESIGN

  • Main Frame split into 2 main pieces for P1S printing
  • Frame joined by wedge locks, but I'd also recommend a bit of super glue liquid or gel [reminder to wear the gloves this time]
  • Print 4 wedge lock total. 
  • Left two wedge locks hold the frame together. 
  • Right two wedge locks make it symmetrical. 
  • Retain your OEM bottom foam [frame on top]

     

  • NOTE - Design slightly different from official design spec. However, all normal Gridfinity accessories seem totally compatible and fit is very similar [Feel free to correct this. I just can't put any more time into a functional part right now].

My pictured print used what I happened to have loaded at the time;  

PRINTER - P1S 

NOZZLE - .6 nozzle 

FILAMENT - Polymaker HT-PLA-GF

LAYER HEIGHT - .25mm

 

Your currently unpictured print;

PRINTER - All but A1M?

NOZZLE - .4 or .6 nozzle 

FILAMENT - PETG, PET, ASA, ABS, PLA+

LAYER HEIGHT - .2-.3mm

 

For best result, use your own settings, not mine. lol.
