Description

Tired of broken nails, scratched housings, or bent connectors when prying electronics? This purpose-built 3D printed lever tool (spudger / pry alternative) excels at getting under connectors, plugs, ribbon cables, battery contacts, PCIe locks, or any tight clip – allowing safe, controlled lifting without risking damage to delicate pins or boards.

The unique lever design with a thin, sharp edge and built-in shoulder provides precise control and prevents over-insertion. The triangular part is oriented for optimal layer alignment during printing, ensuring the sharpest possible edge and maximum strength in the prying direction.

Not inherently ESD-safe – standard PLA/PETG can generate static, but print it in ESD-dissipative filament (e.g., PETG-ESD, ABS-ESD, or similar carbon nanotube-filled materials) for true ESD protection in sensitive environments.

 It wears sacrificially over time... that's the beauty: cheap to reprint instead of damaging your device!

Key Features:

  • Lever shape optimized for sliding under connectors, plugs, cables & clips – lifts gently without bending pins
  • Thin, sharp prying edge with built-in shoulder/stop – prevents deep slips and board damage
  • Modern, compact design – fits perfectly in any repair kit or on your desk
  • Sacrificial tool – wears out instead of your electronics
  • No supports required;

Ideal for phone/laptop repair enthusiasts, makers, tinkerers, console modders, or anyone working on PCBs and tight electronics. Print a few in different colors and keep spares handy!

Recommended Print Settings:

  • 0.08 mm layer height (0.4 mm nozzle) for sharpest edges
  • 3–4 walls, 20–30% infill
  • PLA (cheap & easy) or PETG (more durable/flexible); use ESD-safe variants like PETG-ESD for static-sensitive work
  • Smooth PEI plate for clean bottom edges

Print it, lever under that stubborn connector, wear it out – then print another! Super satisfying, finger-saving tool.

If this little lever saves your next repair or you print it in fun colors – please hit the Boost button, drop a Like, leave a comment, and share a photo of it in action (prying under a connector, opening a device, or your printed variants)! Upload a Make – every like, make, comment & boost boosts visibility and points.

Remixes welcome – let's refine it further!
