Description

Boost Me (for free)

Hey! Full disclosure - I can't change the licence permissions on MakerWorld as it is a MW exclusive model, but I do not mind one bit if you choose to print and sell these. Just gimme a boost if you do :)

Cheers!

Here's my attempt at a clip on can cover to keep bugs, dirt, dust or rain out of your drink!

Customise in Bambu Studio by either adding text, or adding an SVG as a negative part modifier - perfect for adding your favourite teams crest, or someones name for a gift.

Designed from scratch by myself, the can cover fits nicely around a standard can. The lid features a small clip that catches underneath the rim of the can to hold the lid in place, which pops up easily with a flick of the thumb.

The cap prints in two pieces, and requires a short piece of filament to join the two parts. It's a snug fit, but it doesn't take too much effort to get the filament in securely.

I have printed in both PETG, PLA and PLA Silk with success, and have put each version through its paces, so the cap and clip should be durable. I would recommend PETG to be on the safe side though, especially if you're having a cold beer in the hot sun!
