The Papara Park (often also called Akyazı Stadium) in Trabzon, Turkey, is the home of Trabzonspor and is located directly on the coast of the Black Sea.

• Built on the Sea: The most impressive feature is its location. The stadium was built on an artificially reclaimed area (Akyazı) directly in the sea. It is the first stadium in Turkey to be built on reclaimed land.
• The "Smart Roof": The architecture is dominated by a brilliant white, self-cleaning PTFE membrane facade and a roof that appears like folded paper or the waves of the Black Sea. This "Smart Roof" technology allows light through but protects against the harsh coastal weather.
• The 61st Minute: An absolute highlight for every Trabzonspor match (and relevant for the description) is the 61st Minute. Since "61" is Trabzon's license plate code, a huge celebration with confetti, lights, and chants erupts in the stadium at exactly that minute.
• The "Storm": Trabzonspor is often referred to as "Karadeniz Fırtınası" (Storm from the Black Sea), and the stadium is considered one of the loudest cauldrons in the Süper Lig.
