Presenting a sleek, minimalist full-face mask with a distinct aesthetic. This model features a smooth, human-like geometry with a stylized contour line running around the eyes and cheeks, creating a "faceplate" look.
This specific version features a closed mouth design, giving it a mysterious, statue-like, or robotic appearance. It is designed as a perfect "blank canvas" for artists, cosplayers, or for modern home decor.
Key Features:
- High-Quality Surface: Optimized for smooth curvature, looking distinctively clean when printed on high-resolution printers like the Bambu Lab P1S/X1C.
- Stylized Contours: The recessed line detailing allows for easy two-tone painting or washing to highlight the geometry.
- Closed Mouth: A solid mouth area for a seamless, artistic look.
- Ergonomic Fit: Designed to fit a standard face (please check scaling before printing).
Printing Recommendations
I have tested this on a Bambu Lab printer with excellent results.
- Orientation: I recommend printing it vertically (standing up on the chin) or angled slightly back at 45 degrees to minimize support scarring on the front face.
- Supports: Required. Tree Supports (Auto) work best for the chin, nose overhangs, and eye sockets.
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.12mm for the best surface finish.
- Infill: 15% Gyroid or Grid is sufficient.
- Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls recommended for structural strength.
- Material: PLA Matte results in a beautiful finish that hides layer lines well, but PLA Basic or PETG work great too.
Post-Processing The mask in the photos is raw (straight off the printer). For a glossy finish, you can sand, prime, and paint. The side grooves are perfect for adding a contrasting color or LED wiring for advanced makers.
Scaling The model is set to a standard adult scale. However, heads vary in size! Please measure the width of your head and scale the model in the slicer (X/Y axis) accordingly to ensure a proper fit.
