Description

Version 3 is now published.
What's changed:

  • Seamless outside print, no supports outside, only interior supports
  • Print time reduced by 5 hours, amount of plastic reduced because of removed supports and smaller size
  • Bag became smaller, almost without compromising inner volume.
  • Whole interior was reworked, walls became much thinner to increase inside space
  • Outside bag looks organic due to smaller size
  • Hinges are now printed separatly and inserted later (glue recommended, but holds well without glue also)
  • Magnets cuts for 8x3 and 8x2 mm

I found a bit uncomfortable to put this bag somewhere on the table, so I designed a stand for it to make it stay vertically. Stand is done in gothic cathedral style, print profile was added. On stand veins cut for better grip and it's easierer to align heart correctly.

*On the hinges you will notice very small bumps. Those bumps should be aligned with same holes on the walls on the heart, as they are designed to block hinges from moving outside/wobble. Add some glue as well for better hold, but they will hold good without any glue as well.

A sculptural heart-shaped handbag inspired by anatomical forms, combining medical realism with unusual design. This bag was done via Blender using Sculpting techniques.
