Description
A custom speaker grill with an integrated VW logo, designed for a perfectly flush and smooth finish. This model is designed to be printed face-down, meaning the logo and the grill surface will be perfectly flat against your build plate. This is ideal for getting that professional "factory look" using a textured or smooth PEI plate.
Print Settings & Recommendations:
- Orientation: Print Face-Down (Logo touching the build plate). This ensures the top surface of your grill is perfectly level.
- Build Plate: I highly recommend using a Textured PEI Plate. It will give the VW logo and the grill a beautiful, uniform finish and hide any layer lines.
- Material: * PETG or ASA/ABS is recommended for automotive use to prevent warping from sun exposure.
- PLA is suitable for home audio projects.
- Supports: No supports are needed for the honeycomb mesh if your cooling is well-tuned.
- Multi-Color (AMS): If you have an AMS, you can color the first few layers of the logo to make it pop against the grill color.
