Description
This 3D-printed end cap is suitable for 32 mm pool hoses and serves to securely seal open hose ends – for example, during maintenance, winter operation, or modifications to pool, solar, or filter systems.
The cap is inserted into the hose and secured with a standard hose clamp.
🧪 Material Recommendation
I printed and tested this cap in PLA – which generally works.
👉 However, for permanent outdoor use, I recommend:
- ASA (UV and weather resistant)
- ABS (more temperature resistant than PLA)
These materials withstand sun, moisture, and temperature fluctuations much better.
