Automatic door closer v1.3:
- Prints much easier after some improvements
- Only ~40g, and can print in a little over an hour
- PETG is required. I've used Bambu PETG basic with success.
- Designed for standard American door hinges with pins of ¼" (6.35mm) diameter
- Most interior, residential doors in the USA are hollow core, in which case this should work fine. For heavier it might not work
Installation:
- Use a screwdriver or something narrow to push the hinge pin out from the bottom. It might be stuck and you can use something as a hammer to push it out with a little more force
- Use the pin you just took out and put it through the 3d printed part
- Put the whole thing back on the hinge and stop being unhinged
