Samurai Bookmark – Backlit Red Glow

Overview

A slim 50 × 150 mm samurai-themed bookmark in an ink-wash style with a red colour-pop twist. The red is printed in the first layers, so when you hold the bookmark up to a light source it creates a backlit “stained-glass” glow through the artwork.

Printing Details

• Material: PLA (designed/tested in PLA)
• Print type: flat multi-colour layer swap
• Supports: none (flat print)
• Infill: 100%
• Edges: rounded corners to avoid sharp points (book/pocket friendly)

0.2 mm Nozzle Version (AMS)

• Layer height: 0.04 mm
• Initial layer height: 0.1 mm
• Start: Bambu Red PLA
• Layer 15: swap to Bambu Black PLA
• Layer 24: swap to Bambu Jade White PLA

0.2 mm Nozzle Version (NO AMS)

• Layer height: 0.04 mm
• Initial layer height: 0.1 mm
• Start: Bambu Red PLA
• Layer 15: swap to Bambu Black PLA
• Layer 24: swap to Bambu Jade White PLA
• Manual swaps: pauses are already included in the 3MF

0.4 mm Nozzle Version (AMS)

• Layer height: 0.08 mm
• Initial layer height: 0.16 mm
• Start: Bambu Red PLA
• Layer 8: swap to Black PLA
• Layer 12: swap to Jade White PLA

0.4 mm Nozzle Version (NO AMS)

• Layer height: 0.08 mm
• Initial layer height: 0.16 mm
• Start: Bambu Red PLA
• Layer 8: swap to Black PLA
• Layer 12: swap to Jade White PLA
• Manual swaps: pauses are already included in the 3MF
