Description
This is a fully parametric 3-way tube/pipe connector (Y-junction) designed in OpenSCAD for fast customization in the MakerWorld Customizer. Dial in your exact inner diameter (with clearance), wall thickness, insertion depth, and arm angles—including full 3D orientation using azimuth + elevation—to match your project.
To boost strength in angled configurations, the model includes optional triangular reinforcement ribs (gussets) between arm pairs where the angle is < 180°. Rib “strength” is configurable via:
- Rib thickness (mm)
- Rib length (%) along each arm
- Rib width (%) toward the gap between arms
Common uses
- PVC-style fittings, tubing and hose adapters
- Conduit / cable routing, enclosures, ducts, shop vac lines
- Frames, jigs, racks, DIY structures, tent poles, custom assemblies
Printing notes
Print flat on the hub for clean sockets and strong ribs. For press-fit joints, adjust clearance based on your printer/material (PLA/PETG/ABS) and the real tube OD/ID.
