Description

Hello, and welcome to my description

Let me explain the important part first and ramble later

So you have your ceramic rings/lava rock that have always been considered the pinacle of theoretical bio filtration. HOWEVER, it clogs within weeks. the millions of micro pores become useless. You may as well throw a dirty sock into your filter and you'd have better results. This media will never clog depending on your infill %. I recommend an infill of 10-15%. The default profile is set for 10%. The media is incredibly easy to clean. take it out, wash it in with something with decent pressure, or just shake it around a bunch until you are satisfied. Gyroid is perfect and cannot be replicated by traditional manufacturing techniques. water can move right, left, down, sideways through it. It's the only media that can boast this. So throw it anywhere, in any direction like I do for my store, and you will have excellent results.

This is a simple media, that you can easily customize or make your own version of with my print profile.

The neat part of this is it can be any shape, you can even print it in blocks to fit into a box, just add a primitive cube in the slicer by right clicking and selecting “add primitive”

So heres where you can customize to your liking

For me, I'm lazy, so I use 10% infil, and NEVER have to clean it.

For most people, i'd recommend using 15% infil, and maybe once a year cleaning.
