Zen Japanese Tea House

This Japanese Tea House features a complete roof structure and a carefully designed base, creating a solid and visually balanced model.
The house is best appreciated as a standalone decorative piece, capturing the calm, harmony, and proportions of traditional Japanese architecture.

The model combines a recognizable traditional style with detailed interior elements, resulting in a finished, display-oriented appearance suitable for shelves, desks, or display cabinets.

🚪 Functional Sliding Doors

• Front and side shoji doors are fully functional
• Interior sliding doors can also be opened and closed

🗄️ Interior Details

• Traditional low table
• Interior cabinets and wall elements
• Based on the original tea house interior

🧲 Magnetic Interior Elements

• The low table and floor cushions include embedded magnets
• They can be easily positioned inside the house

🧩 Minimal Glue Assembly

• Almost entirely glue-free
• Some parts may require glue.
  In my case, I glued four small parts at the corners under the roof.

💡 Lighting Ready

• Supports tealight LED lighting
• For this build, I used a 5 mm LED, which gives much better and more even lighting.
  I  included a small LED diffuser, designed specifically to soften and spread the light from a 5 mm LED.
