PRS Silver Sky SE Truss Rod Cover - Dog Tag Insert

This truss rod cover is for the SE version of the PRS Silver Sky. I dislike the stock SE truss rod cover and since it is not recessed like the core model, the 3rd party metal dog tag versions ended up making my guitar look like a knockoff. My solution to this was to design a plastic dog tag cover that pays homage to both models. I designed it as a friction fit so in the hopes of achieving a clean, modern look with no screw that compliments PRS's modernized take of the Stratocaster.

This design works perfectly for my guitar, but since guitars are made of wood (a material that tends to fluctuate in size), the model may need to be scaled up slightly or modified down the road.

The “Standard” plate covers the screw hole and is a plug&play solution, while the “Short” plate is more true to the core model's size, but would require you to fill the screw hole or leave it exposed.
