Optimized for PLA

This remix maintains the design and “kit card” experience, but makes printing more accurate and especially optimized for PLA with a setting designed for those who want a clean result without AMS

What's new in my remix

  • 92% Scale: everything on a single plate → less print time and a more compact layout
  • X-Y Hole Compensation: +0.05: slightly more permissive fit to reduce overly aggressive interlocking, without distorting the model
  • Print-by-Object: sequential printing optimized to reduce unnecessary movements between parts and make printing tidier (it's already designed for this in the project)
  • No AMS needed: profile designed for single-color printing → no purge tower/multi-material
  • NEW: cable pass-through hole on the rear attachment: you can thread a cord/wire through it and hang it on your car's rearview mirror, on a hook at home, etc
  • Optimized for PLA filament, also great for PETG

Helpful notes

  • The joints can be stiff at first: with movement and use they tend to become smoother
  • Print-by-object requires objects to be arranged correctly to avoid print head collisions: my layout is already optimized, but if you modify the arrangement check the “clearance”
  • Choking hazard: contains small parts, not suitable for children under 3 years

Printing tip

Print at 50% speed for greater model precision for the initial 20-30 minutes of printing
