Description
DIY shifter for simracing.
Tools needed:
- Soldering iron + tin
- Flathead screwdriver
- 2mm hex screwdriver
- Superglue
- (jumper wires)
Hardware needed:
- 16 - M3x20 buttonhead screw
- 16 - M3 brass insert
- 2 - 626RS ball bearing
- 2 - 6000RS ball bearing
- 2 - M6 nut
- 2 - 10x17 compression spring
- 1 - 8x35 compression spring
- 1 - 9x30 tension spring cut in half
- 1 - M10 threaded rod cut to 55 mm length
- 1 - M6 threaded rod cut to 70 mm length
- 2 - microswitches - type does not matter
- 1 - Arduino (Uno, Nano, Mega…)
- Some wire.
The assembly process i pretty straight forward if looking at de photos. the bearings should be a slight press fit.
