Organizer – Scratch-free Individual Cutlery Storage

🥄 Scratch-Free Cutlery Organizer for Matte Cutlery Sets

(Individual storage like in a presentation case)

I developed this cutlery box because I couldn't find anything comparable.

Most cutlery boxes stack cutlery on top of each other or place multiple pieces in one compartment.
Especially with matte stainless steel, this leads to fine scratches and shiny spots over time.

This system solves it differently:

✔ Each cutlery piece lies individually
✔ No metal-on-metal contact
✔ No friction
✔ Permanently high-quality appearance

The storage is reminiscent of how a new cutlery set is presented in a case – but permanent for the kitchen drawer.

📦 The set consists of:

• Knife Box
• Fork Box
• Soup Spoon Box
• Cake Fork Box
• Coffee Spoon Box
• Accessory Box (e.g., salad servers, serving cutlery, special pieces)
• Spacers for the drawer (for a snug fit and modular construction)

All elements are modularly combinable and adapted for standard kitchen drawers (50cm).

💡 Why I made this

Our matte cutlery is over 10 years old – and still looks like new.
The reason: it was stored individually from the beginning.

Since I couldn't find a suitable system for it, I designed it myself.

This is my first own design – born from a real everyday problem.

🖨️ Printing Experiences (honest & transparent)

When printing, I had two typical challenges:

• Slightly visible layers at the transition from the bottom to the outer wall
• Small filament accumulations in the corners (due to seam points)

By adjusting speed, wall order, and seam position, I was able to significantly improve it – but not yet perfect it 100%.
