StakeLock Bird Feeder Gazebo

The StakeLock Bird Feeder is a sturdy, ground-mounted bird feeder system designed specifically for 3D printing and real-world outdoor use. Instead of hanging from flimsy hooks or swaying poles, this feeder installs securely into the ground using a thick, tapered stake for excellent stability in wind and weather.

The modular design allows the feeder body to thread onto the stake, making it easy to install, remove, transport, or reprint individual parts if needed. Built with strength in mind, this feeder is ideal for gardens, yards, and outdoor spaces where durability matters.

Designed in Fusion 360 and optimized for FDM printing.

• Print all stake components vertically, tip down (as shown in preview)

✅ Recommended Settings

• Walls: 6
• Infill: 25% Gyroid
• Top Layers: 8
• Bottom Layers: 10
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Supports: None
• Brim: Recommended (8–10 mm) for tall parts

✅ Filament

• Best: PETG or ASA (outdoor durable)
• PLA/PLA+: Works, but may degrade outdoors over time

🌦️ Outdoor Use Notes

For best longevity:

• Use PETG or ASA
• Avoid hammering directly on printed parts
• Insert by twisting or pressing into soil
• Consider sealing threads with a small amount of silicone grease if exposed long-term
