Description
This is a modular mirage hood / control bridge for MDT ACC Elite & Premier 2 chassis.
This is an evolution of my MDT ACC Control Bridge. It has a slightly different design more like the original.
There ist also a lower variant, more suitable for rimfire and thin profile barrels: MDT ACC Modular Mirage Hood Low Profile
Features:
- grippy fluted surface
- modular design
- can be combined as desired
- different length modules
- 80, 120, 160, 200, 240 and 280 mm
- slotted holes
- takes a little shrinking of material
- 18mm inner height
- should fit heavy barrel
I chose ASA-CF filament because of UV and temperature resistance. It also has a very nice look and feel.
I finish the fluted areas with fine sandpaper to make the rough surface a litte smoother but still very grippy.
6-32 x 3/8" UNC screws like this needed for fixing to chassis.
I'm working with full parametric CAD models. So feel free to ask for different variations.
