Description
I created this flame that attaches to the top of the 2026 torch that was created by nerz. See link below for his file.
My wife needed two lit Olympic torches for an event with the students at the school she works at.
I used orange translucent PETG I had, and placed a some fairy lights from Amazon inside to light it up.
The base slips right into the top groove on the torch that nerz created. And the battery with the switch for the lights can be placed into the center hole on the torch.
The base file is pretty thin, so if the center hole doesn't come off with the supports, use a small exacto knife to trim it out. It only takes roughly 2 hours to print, so if you are handing it out to a bunch of elementary kids to play around with, it may be worth it to print a couple extras like I did.
