This OpenSCAD model is a parametric pet foot washer shower head, designed as a toroidal cylinder with internal water jet holes. Simply place your pet's foot inside the ring, and water sprays from the holes for efficient cleaning. Ideal for post-walk or playtime foot cleaning for dogs, cats, or other pets.

 

Variable Names and Parameter Descriptions

  1. Variable name: ring_diameter
    Description: The major diameter of the torus ring. Adjust this to change the overall size of the foot washer, ensuring it fits your pet's foot comfortably.
  2. Variable name: height
    Description: The height of the toroidal cylinder. This controls the vertical length of the shower head, affecting the cleaning coverage area.
  3. Variable name: hole_diameter
    Description: The diameter of each water jet hole on the inner surface of the torus. Adjust to modify water flow rate and spray intensity.
  4. Variable name: hole_density_factor
    Description: A scaling factor for the density of hole distribution. Higher values increase the number of holes per unit area, resulting in a finer and more even water spray.

 

Printing Instructions:
For a successful and durable print, please note the following:

  • Material: It is highly recommended to use PETG, ASA, or other water-resistant and temperature-resistant filaments. PLA is not suitable for long-term contact with water and varying temperatures.
  • Supports: Tree supports (on build plate only) are required due to the model's geometry. Configure your slicer to generate tree-style supports that only touch the build plate for easier removal and less surface scarring on the model itself.
