Description

Hey, I'm Foxwood! If you like my work, be sure to follow me for more design in the future!

Introducing the first piece in my Clock 1.0 range: a sleek, minimalist wall clock designed to blend modern 3D printing with the warmth of natural wood. The clock features a laser-cut wooden face paired with 3D printed body and hands, creating a clean, contemporary aesthetic perfect for any home or office.

This clock uses the Bambu Lab Maker Supplier Clock Components Kit 011, but it is also compatible with most similar clock mechanisms. To maintain the minimalist look and avoid the hex nut showing on the mechanism, the clock mechanism is designed to be glued directly into the 3D printed body. The hands are press-fit onto the mechanism but may require a tiny amount of glue for a secure fit.

This is the first release in a modular series—I plan to expand the Clock 1.0 range with additional faces and interchangeable outer bodies, allowing you to customize your wall clock to suit your style.

Follow me on MakerWorld to see new clocks as I add them and stay updated on the Clock 1.0 range!

HALO WALL CLOCK BY FOXWOOD
it was a birthday present so I personalized the logo, but printing the original one for myself, it's really great wall clock, author definitely deserves everyone to "buy him a coffee" ☕😄🙏

Recently got the laser module during the Easter flash sale and decided to give this a go. An absolutely superb model. I printed it in burgundy PLA-CF with sapele ply that I treated with teak oil afterwards. The mixture of materials and the way the numerals are embeded into the clock face gives this model a real premium feel.

Sure - here's the finished clock. I have to fess up that I removed the logo (personal preference to have the clean look) Thanks once again - this will be taking premium wall space in my living room 😊 Edit: Just been looking at your other stuff too - really nice, will be printing more of your designs.

Hello when trying to laser in Bambu Suite, I get the error "Attach too large. Detatch or reduce attach size to 250mm x 250mm or less." I fear reducing it will cause it not to fit correctly. I am using H2D printer. Any suggestions?

NVM. I see the issue, i have a 40w laser and this is only compatible with 10w laser, because of the size.

I just printed the back of the clock, and the numbers - then went to laser and had the same issue. I’ve got the 40W. man. what a total waste of filament. I was so looking forward to completing this project. it’s my first laser project too I only got my laser set up yesterday 😭

Hello, very good design. Please, can you tell me the sizes of the clock component kit 011? And the background in wood color, is printable or I must buy apart? Thanks

HI, Thanks ! It's about 56x56m20mm. The wooden face is walnut and the black numbers and lines are a printed component.

can you adjust the clock so it would be printable with a p2s? (256 x 256 mm maximum print plate). If i scale it with Bambu Studio the clock component wont fit. My plan is to use veneere (0,5mm) an cut it with a scalpel. So it would be great if the dial is more closed for the veneer, if possible. Which filament did you use in your photos? You wrote Overture Green PLA but linked eSun Morandi Green which seems more bluish. Bambu PLA looks more greenish
