Short Description:
Digital 3D print files for a modular bit holder and tool organizer for KS Tools, Wera Rapidaptor, Knipex & more
Perfect for self-printing on your 3D Printer – all parts printable without support, ideal for PETG or PLA for workshop and EDC setup
Note: This set might also fit the ICON ratchet with a swivel head or the Toptul GADW3401. Unfortunately, I do not own them. If someone could send me measurements and test it, I would be very grateful
Full Description:
With this modular 3D Printed bit holder system, you can 3D print your own compact tool organizer for bits and hand tools
The files are ideal for anyone who wants to organize their KS Tools ratchet, Wera Rapidaptor, and Knipex pliers neatly and within reach
Compatible Tools and Contents:
- KS Tools 918.1560
- 24 short bits or 12 short bits and 6 long bits (1/4" bits)
- 5 1/4" sockets (with socket clips from Kraftwerk)
- Brennenstuhl PL200 flashlight
- Wera Rapidaptor bit holder
- Tajima stainless steel cutter LC390B
- Graphoplex steel ruler 10 cm
- Knipex Cobra 125 or Knipex Pliers Wrench 125
This 3D Printed bit organizer system is specifically designed for DIYers, makers, and EDC enthusiasts who want to store their tools space-efficiently and easily accessible. This way, your personal mini toolbox fits in your back pocket
Swivel Module, Magnetic Mounts & Variants:
- Swivel module with integrated detent – can also be used as a lamp stand for the Brennenstuhl PL200
- Two magnetic receptacles for round magnets Ø 8 mm × 3 mm for holding the Wera Rapidaptor and the bit extension from KS Tools
- A magnetic mount is provided for the Brennenstuhl PL200, into which a pin (approx. 3 mm diameter, 1 cm length, e.g., M3 screw piece) is clipped
- Sockets are attached to the 3D Printed rail with 1/4" socket clips from Kraftwerk
The files include several swivel module variants – including a version where, in addition to the Knipex Cobra 125, a Knipex Pliers Wrench 125 also fits (this omits the lamp, cutter, and ruler)
You can also choose between a belt clip and a name tag. You add the text for the name tag yourself in the Slicer
Printing instructions for best results:
- All parts can be printed without support
- Important: The support already included in the design is only for cases where it might not work. I recommend deleting it and printing entirely without support for the first attempt
- For optimal fit and a perfect look, the seam should be placed on the back of the individual modules
Recommended settings (example):
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Walls: 2
- Infill: approx. 15%
- Material: PETG HF (tested on Bambu Lab A1; PLA is also possible if it suits your application)
The design is deliberately modular so that you can:
- print individual modules quickly and cleanly
- design your own modules and extensions
- adapt the system to your personal bit set, tools, and EDC setup
The modules are attached to the main body via a sliding connection, making them stable and interchangeable
If you publish extensions, you must refer to my set, and the base modules must be downloaded from me
