Description

Boost Me (for free)

I've spent ages modelling this for my son in Fusion 360, printing a trial to check the measurements, tweaking, and testing to get the fit "just right".

Can you spot the 3d printed one in the photos? I think i've got every little detail in the model, but please let me know if you find something not quite right. I've done all the printing on a H2D.

Unlike the original you can obviously print in any colour you like, see my glow in the dark sample in the photos!

SUPPORT FILAMENT ESSENTIAL!

Unfortunately I have not yet found a way to print it without supports, or at least in such as way as regular supports in the model filament will result in great quality.
As an alternative you can do the PLA/PETG trick (see the BambuLab Wiki if you dont know what this is).

The print speed of the interface layer has been reduced to mitigate issues I have had with the H2D and support filament - see https://forum.bambulab.com/t/support-material-for-pla-petg-not-sticking/169824/20. If your printing on a single nozzle printer this workaround likely isn’t needed and you can reset the interface layer speed to default.

I do intend to try splitting it up so as an alternative to lots of support you can glue the back on.
