This bird’s nest stand is designed specifically to cradle an Owl Echo Dot, making it look like it belongs in nature instead of spying on you from a countertop. Cozy, decorative, and way cooler than the stock setup.
What This Is:
- A decorative bird’s nest–style stand for an Owl Echo Dot
- Designed to securely hold the device while keeping sound ports unobstructed
- Two size options included:
- Large / Detailed Nest: 155 × 150 × 34 mm
- Compact / Simplified Nest: 125 × 125 × 30 mm
- Both versions are single-piece prints with a flat base
Use the detailed version for display areas and the smaller version when you want a quicker, cleaner print.
Supports & Removal Notes:
- Branch-like textures are thickened for print reliability
- If your printer struggles with overhangs, enable light supports touching build plate only
- Avoid aggressive scraping during removal — the outer texture is decorative, not structural
Slow removal keeps the nest looking natural instead of chewed.
Important Notes:
- Decorative stand only does not amplify sound or improve microphone performance
- Not designed for wall mounting or hanging
- Do not block speaker openings when placing the Eco Dot
- Best printed in PLA or PLA+ for clean texture and easy printing
This is a nest, not a chew toy or load-bearing structure.
