📝 Description:
This 10mm giant XXL wrench, inspired by iconic Facom models, pushes the concept even further with a size of approximately 1.5 meters.
Here, it clearly transforms from a tool into a spectacular object, designed for decoration, events, booths, workshops, or simply for the pleasure of creating an extraordinary print.
3D printed, this wrench is ideal for:
- XXL / large volume printing
- rigidity and structural hold testing
- machine capability demonstration
- workshop, garage, showroom decor
- fun and completely uninhibited object 😄
The proportions remain faithful to the original model, which enhances the “wow” effect when seen next to a person.
WARNING! This wrench is not intended for tightening screws or nuts
🛠️ Tips for perfect adhesion in 3D printing:
Clean your print bed thoroughly before each print. Grease residues, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause warping.
Check print bed calibration: a well-leveled bed ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer.
Use a suitable adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, an adhesive spray, or a specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak).
Correctly adjust the bed temperature to promote adhesion depending on the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.).
Reduce the first layer print speed: a slower speed allows for better filament adhesion to the bed.
Provide a skirt or a brim in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping.
