đŸ‡«đŸ‡· Description (French)

This bust represents Hippocrates of Kos, a founding figure of Western medicine, in a sober sculptural interpretation faithful to ancient iconography. It is inspired by the most popular and widely disseminated representation of the character, derived from ancient busts traditionally associated with Hippocrates, recognizable by his marked face, abundant beard, and serious and thoughtful expression.

The sculpture highlights a face imbued with wisdom and experience, evoking the physician as much as the thinker. The volumes are deliberately affirmed and legible, conveying the intellectual and moral authority of the one who profoundly transformed medical practice by detaching it from supernatural beliefs to anchor it in observation, ethics, and reason.

This bust pays homage to Hippocrates' legacy, particularly the famous Hippocratic Oath, still a symbol of medical ethics today. Designed for 3D printing, it is part of a classical sculpture approach, intended to transmit the historical and scientific importance of this major figure through a timeless and balanced form.

🇬🇧 Description (English)

This bust depicts Hippocrates of Kos, the founding figure of Western medicine, in a sober and faithful sculptural interpretation inspired by classical antiquity. It is based on the most popular and widely recognized representation of the historical figure, traditionally associated with ancient busts attributed to Hippocrates, identifiable by his aged features, full beard, and thoughtful expression.

The sculpture emphasizes a face marked by wisdom and experience, reflecting both the physician and the thinker. Strong, clearly defined volumes convey the intellectual authority and moral depth of the man who revolutionized medicine by separating it from superstition and grounding it in observation, ethics, and rational inquiry.

This bust pays tribute to Hippocrates’ enduring legacy, particularly the famous Hippocratic Oath, which remains a cornerstone of medical ethics today. Designed for 3D printing, it follows a classical sculptural approach, aiming to preserve and convey the historical and scientific importance of this essential figure through a timeless and balanced form.

AI may be involved in certain stages of the creation process; however, all models are systematically corrected, optimized for 3D printing, and physically printed before being published.

Fantastic, very nice, great details, I'm thrilled. Printed in P2S with Sunlu Marble Oreo. Unfortunately, I couldn't remove the supports from the bottom of the torso without minor damage (settings in Bambu Studio were "Enable Support, Tree (auto), Support only touching buildplate"), is there anything I can improve there or would the area need to be made thicker? No criticism, just the question of an absolute 3D printing beginner :-)

I will check but it's strange, I haven't had this problem on my end

yes, this is still an issue. it looks like the model isn't closed on this or doesn't have a outer surface in that space which results in the infill showing. This print is an amazing model.
