Intricate Design: This model has passed my printing tests (see photos). Due to its complex structure, I recommend novice users not to alter the print profiles to avoid failures.

The Project This model is entirely designed in Fusion 360 and optimized for 3D printing, even for smaller beds like the A1 Mini. The wing prints in one piece, and I’ve engineered the supports to "pop off" as easily as possible, preserving the thin aerodynamic surfaces.

What’s Included?

1/8 Scale Model: A precise replica of the W17 front wing.
Sticker Sheet: A high-resolution A4 PDF with all the team decals, perfectly sized for the 1/8 scale.

Post-Processing

To achieve the result shown in my photos, expect about 2/3 days of work:

Sanding: Smooth the print with sandpaper (80 grit up to 500+).
Primer: Apply a plastic-safe primer layer.
Paint: Use acrylic spray paint for the team colors.
Decals & Protection: Apply the included decals and finish with a clear coat for that shine

I like the form and surface quality, but the quality of the camera spoiler element is not good due to the lack of no supports.

hi, i’m sorry this happened to you. was the build plate clean? did you print from the handy app or PC? anyway, i always make sure everything is correctly supported, like in this screenshot

Hi, I started the print from the handy. I have seen normally there would be supports but they didnt came up. So for the future I only use the PC. Thanks for the tip an image novamar!

it happens all the time, because the file gets re scliced by bambu servers, so all the little tweaks get lost. Better to download and print from the PC version, happy printing 👍

the coating is acrylic spray paint, only the stickers are paper
