Boost Me (for free)

If you found this model helpful, it would mean the world to me if you could give me a boost!  Thanks and stay safe with those electrons!

The WattCycle 100Ah Rack Battery Gen 2 is a decently priced rack battery and is working great for me so far...but one thing that caused me minor concern is that the screws holding the positive terminal have continuity to the chassis which connects to the negative of the battery and they are in close proximity to the positive terminal lug surface.  While unlikely to be an issue if you have the lug covers on, the proximity just didn't give me the warm feelies knowing you're a few millimeters from a 6kW discharge so I whipped up these simple caps to put my mind at ease.

The internal dimension is about 6.85mm across and they should be printed in TPU for a slight stretch fit.  They may work on other batteries with similar terminals but it depends upon the screw head size of course.  These should be short enough on the top to allow the standard lug covers to slide over them, but it will be a snug fit and you may need to slightly lift to get the final 1 or 2 to slide over.  Once on they'll keep the caps in place for you.
