✏️ Jumbo Pencil-Style Pen (BIC) ✏️

Turn a classic school icon into a hilarious — and surprisingly practical — writing tool. This Jumbo Pencil-Style Pen looks like an oversized novelty pencil, but it’s actually a fully functional ballpoint pen that uses a standard BIC pen refill. Yes, you can literally take apart any BIC pen and drop the refill straight into this print.

Perfect as:

  • 😂 A funny gag or desk prop
  • 🎁 A unique gift for students, teachers, or coworkers
  • 🏫 A playful but usable pen for school or everyday notes

At first glance it’s a jumbo pencil… then you realize it writes. Every time.

🔧 Design & Printing Details

  • Uses a generic BIC ballpoint pen refill
  • Prints in 3 simple parts
  • Optional print profile included for non-AMS users (includes a pause so you can manually change the filament in the eraser)
  • No hardware required — everything press-fits together cleanly and holds securely
  • Designed for easy assembly straight off the print bed

The fit is snug and reliable, so once assembled, it feels solid in the hand while still keeping that oversized, novelty charm.

✨ Why You’ll Love It

  • Combines humor + function — not just a shelf prop
  • Great conversation starter in classrooms and offices
  • Fast, straightforward print with minimal post-processing
  • Scales perfectly as a small gift or fun personal project

Whether you’re pulling a lighthearted prank, gifting something memorable, or just want a pen that makes people do a double-take, this jumbo pencil delivers.

Print it, assemble it, steal a BIC refill — and enjoy the confused looks 😄✏️🖊️

How to Assemble:

Ensure you have all the necessary printed parts and either one of the BIC pens circled in the picture (both have the same ink refill size, meaning they will both fit this model)

Disassemble your BIC pen, you only need the ink refill (what is being held in the picture)

These are all the parts you need to begin assembling

Slide the ink refill into the pencil tip (this should fit snugly ensuring it will not fall out)

The pencil tip will press into the pencil body (this will also fit snugly)

Press the eraser part onto the pencil body to complete the assembly

Congratulations! You now have a fully functional pen in the shape of a jumbo pencil!
