Utility Knife One-Hand Operation (18mm Snap-Off Blade)

Stable utility knife for 18mm snap-off blades with push profile for right and left-handers.

the utility knife can be operated one-handed.

To extend the blade, the push button (spring-loaded) is pressed and the blade is pushed out to the desired length.

When the button is released, the sliding mechanism locks into place at the desired position.

There is a separate push profile for right-handers and left-handers. All parts (except the blade) can be printed.

I recommend PETG-HF or ABS as material

Assembly instructions for the right-handed version:

The hole in the blades is not centered, so the arrangement of the parts must be followed during assembly, otherwise the slider will jam.

1. Insert the spring into the push button from the side

   

    

   2. Place the blade holder on the table as shown and insert the blade into the guide from the right. 

   The mounting hole for the push button is on the left, the blade tip must point to the front right

    

   For the left-handed version, it is mirrored, and the blade tip must point to the back right

    

   3. Insert the push button from above through the mounting hole, inserting the small bolt into the hole of the blade to hold it.

   

   4. Now turn over the pre-assembled blade holder and slide it into the handle as shown, pressing the spring on the back slightly when inserting.

   

   5. Now insert the rear cover until it locks.
