Description

I had found a nice riser and drawer combination that allow a large amount of storage under the printer for my X1C, I didn't find to many that did that for the AD5X.   Others had side drawers, which don't work for me as there isn't' enough room to open a side drawer.  I also wanted something to follow the contours of the enclosure.

So I designed a set of stands for the left and right sides of the printer, to hold it up and then added a larger drawer from side to side that goes all the way to the back of the printer.   Also made the stand 75mm high to allow deep Gridfinity bins or to double stack if wanted.

For the stands, I picked up some 0.4mm rubber feet from Amazon, to prevent it from sliding.

This is the first release and I did notice some seams in places that I would prefer not having (I will continue working on refinement).

Cutouts on the side allow your hands to get to the lift handles.

The main stand is a bit filament heavy, I used PETG, but I used 10% Gyroid, except where the printer feet are located, those have modifiers to use 15% Grid Infill, for added support.

I will be adding a profile with the Gridfinity Grid.

Assembly is petty simple, the two parts of the stand have dovetails that just slide into each other.   The drawer uses dovetails and has guides on the side, after assembly glue the filler pieces into the sides and base.

If you wonder why I didn't use Orange or Blue for the base, it was because I have a lot of Black PETG.

If someone does print this, would you mind posting a picture, I would like to see what others setups look like.

I hope you can use the model, and if you like it how about boosting it so I can keep adding new ones.
