Ergonomic hand knob with 45 mm diameter

The knob is divided into two parts and is glued together using connectors after you have inserted an M8 hex screw of any desired length

I have added 2 print profiles, for PETG and PLA

Both are well suited You can decide for yourself which material you want to use

Update 2026/02/01

I have replaced the existing model with one that has a slightly larger tolerance This should ensure that the screw can be inserted more easily

A version for M6 screws can be found here

The slots for the connector are of different widths, so they don't fit. For each head half, one slot fits, the other doesn't. Slot1 3.9mm Slot2 3.5mm

I have now looked at the CAD model and the 3MF in Bambu Studio. In CAD and in Bambu Studio, the slots are 4.0 mm wide on each side. Therefore, I cannot explain where your different measurements come from. Please check in the slicer, using the measurement tool, how wide the slots are for you. Did you use my print profile or just download the model data and slice it yourself?

I loaded the model data, which actually measures 4 mm in the slicer (Creality Print). However, they are different after printing. But no problem, I just filed them down a bit and they still fit. 👍👍 It's still a great object. Unfortunately, I don't have any Boost Tickets available, otherwise the model would have deserved it

I mean, cool, but doesn’t it just block the screw from going all the way in?
